For  those of you who are pizza lovers, an opportunity you cannot miss! By participating in this cooking class, you will acquire not only the technical and manual skills necessary for the preparation of pizza, but also an in-depth knowledge of the ingredients. Knowing how to recognize quality raw materials is, after all, the first step in preparing an exceptional pizza or sfincione focaccia. Particular attention will be paid to the characteristics and qualities of the grains used, with distinction made between ancient and conventional grains.

You will prepare the dough with your very own hands, and later use it to roll out a classic pizza, 'la faccia di vecchia', a traditional poor person's pizza of our ancestors, and the Palermitan 'sfincione', a thicker focaccia style pizza topped with onion sauce, caciocavallo cheese and anchovies, a real must in Palermo.

At the end of the cooking class, you can finally enjoy the fruits of your labors ... And taste what we prepared all together at the table with 2 local craft beers.
