Enjoy one day of Sicilian gastronomic tradition in the beautiful scenario provided by Mount Etna. Sicily is a land of colours, smells and above all..flavours!
Choose the course that suits you between the following two proposals dedicated to all lovers of good food.
- Sicilian Fried Ball (we call it "Arancino") in 3 flavours: pistachio, meat and butter.
- Traditional Sicilian Recipes: you will prepare 2 typical sicilian dishes. Some examples of the recipes you could be engaged in are "rice timbale with summer vegetables, aubergine dome, beef roll and meat ball inside wrapped in lemon leaves.
Please note that all the participants will prepare the dishes but they will not use the stoves.

The location of the  cooking class will be the renowned Cottanera Wine Cellar on Mt Etna, in Castiglione di Sicilia (about 40 km from Taormina). The management will be pleased to show you the cellar and the vineyards through a guided tour, to let you learn the production process of wine.
You will cook traditional Sicilian dishes. Lunch will follow where you will taste the dishes you have prepared during the course and some other local specialities.
Every participant will be equipped with apron and recipe book.

Guided tour of the cellar and wine yards, cocktail with typical products, buffet lunch with wine tasting.
For groups of 4 and 5 people, lunch consists of two wines and two dishes, for groups of 6 people at least, lunch consists of three wines and three dishes. Additional wine bottles may be bought at the farm, cellar price. Water and coffee included.

The cellar is located in Strada Provinciale, 89 - Contrada Iannazzo - Castiglione di Sicilia (Catania).

It is required an advanced payment of the entire amount.

Children under 12 years old can participate for free.

For cancellations made at least 48 hours before the beginning time, the l’85% of the total price will be refunded. For cancellations made after this term, the total price of the Service shall be charged to you.
