If you are a gourmet, a "foodie" or just a food lover, this is a unique opportunity to deepen your knowledge about sicilian culinary tradition! You will take part to some of the best sicilian cooking classes, lunches and wine tastings in the cellars, also having the opportunity to visit the traditional local markets.

Day 1: Arrival at Catania’s Airport and transfer to the accommodation facilities in Catania.
Day 2: Catania city center tour and visit to the fish market.
Guided tour to discover Catania’s old city centre with visit to “Piazza Stesicoro” to admire the Roman amphitheatre dating back to the second century AD.  Walk along Via Etna and Via Crociferi, to watch the old baroque buildings, and arrival in Piazza Vincenzo Bellini famous for the “Teatro Massimo”, an Opera  House with one the best acoustic in the world. Final visit to the characteristic fish market and to the Ursino Castle, founded in the thirteenth century and seat of the Catania Museum. Lunch is served in a local restaurant.
Day 3: Sicilian cooking class in Taormina.
Visit to the local markets to buy the ingredients followed by the cooking lesson. At the end all guests will taste the dishes they have been preparing.
The lesson will take place in a restaurant located in Taormina’s old city centre. You will get the chance to help the chef prepare the dishes while sipping some good Sicilian wine. At the end you will enjoy the dishes you helped to cook along with some of the restaurant’ specialties.
In the afternoon, visit to the city of Taormina with its shops on the main streets such as Corso Umberto and final stop to the Greek theatre.
Day 4: Tour of Syracuse and cooking class.
Guided tour of the city with cooking class in Ortigia.
Guided tour of the Neapolis’ s Archaeological Park, which is home to most of Syracuse’ s Greek and Roman monuments. Visit to Ortigia, the island that forms part of Syracuse’s old city centre, where you can admire the Greek temples, the beautiful Christian churches, the Swabian palaces, the Arab alleys and baroque Cathedral Square. A Sicilian cooking class will follow the tour.  At lunch all guests will taste the dishes they have been preparing with their own hands.
Day 5: Etna Tour and wine tasting.
Guided tour on the Etna’s Northern side to see some typical lava tunnel and enjoy a wine tasting.
First stop Fornazzo, then you will reach the "Mareneve" road that leads to the Piano Provenzana Etna Nord. Visit to the “Cave della Neve, a typical example of a lava tunnel, and final stop to see the Monti Sartorious and the 1865’s eruption remains. At the end of the tour, you will enjoy a light lunch with local products at a winery followed by a wine tasting.
Day 6: Visit to Castiglione di Sicilia with wine tasting in a cellar.
Visit to a winery with walk in the vineyards and wine tasting in Castiglione di Sicilia. Visit to Castiglione di Sicilia, one of the most beautiful medieval towns in Italy. After a walk in its city centre, you will visit a local cellar and take a walk in the vineyards.  The volcanic soil rich in clay, the altitude and the good climate contribute to generate a rich terroir with remarkable characteristic. At lunch you will taste both red and white wines with typical local products.
Day 7: Departure. Transfer from the hotel to the Catania’ s Airport.
