PROGRAM

Day 1 - Catania: Arrival and check in at the hotel in Catania

Day 2 - Savoca, Forza D'Agrò and Taormina: Transfer to Savoca for the Godfather tour and visit to the most famous locations where the film had been directed. Lunch in Forza D'Agrò and afternoon tour in Taormina where you can either enjoy free-time around the city or visit the most beautiful Sicilian ancient Greek theatre. You can freely organise your dinner.

Day 3 - Sicracusa and Ortigia: Transfer to Sicracusa where you will take part in a Sicilian cooking class. Prior to that you will visit the market in order to buy all of the necessary ingredients and taste a selection of cold cuts and cheeses.At lunch you will taste all courses prepared during the class. Free afternoon. You will then return to Catania where you can freely organise your dinner.

Day 4 - Piazza Armerina: Transfer and visit to Piazza Armerina, ancient medieval city. You will have lunch in a typical restaurant. Afternoon visit to the Villa Romana del Casale, an incredible example of luxurious villa of the late Roman empire time. Following you will visit Caltagirone, famous for it colourful and majestic staircase. Transfer to your hotel in Ragusa and you will be free to organise your dinner.

Day 5 - Ragusa Ibla and Scicli: Visit of Ragusa discovering all of the most important location of the TV series " Inspector Montalbano". Transfer to Punta Secca in order to visit the Inspector's home and lunch in a typical restaurant. Afternoon visit in Scicli and free dinner.

Day 6 - Modica: You will visit Modica, famous everywhere for its chocolate production and its incredible baroque style. You are free to organise your lunch. Afternoon visit of a chocolate factory and you will be transferred back to the hotel. You can freely organise your dinner.

Day 7 - Agrigento: Transfer to Agrigento and boat tour of the Scala dei Turchi. Packed lunch. Afternoon visit of Agrigento where you will discover the arab-norman architecture and transfer to the hotel. You are free for dinner.

Day 8 - Selinunte and Segesta: Visit of the archeological site of Selinunte, in the south-west part of Sicily.  Afternoon visit to the archeological site of Segesta, a city founded by the ancient Greek of Troy. You are free to organise your dinner.

Day 9 - Monreale e Palermo: transfer to Monreale and visit of the Norman city. Lunch in a typical restaurant. Afternoon visit of Palermo and its main historical monuments. You will be free for dinner and then transferred back to your hotel.

Day 10: Transfer to the Palermo airport and end of the tour.
