Let’s us introduce you the old Winery Valle dell' Acate, belonging to a family involved in wine making for six generation and producing one of the best wines of Ragusa: the award-winning Cerasuolo di Vittoria (DOCG).
Sicilyng gives you the chance to visit their vineyards, the cellars and the wine museum.
You will also discover of the art of wine making, and taste the local produce surrounded by a picturesque setting.
We arranged two different tasting proposals:
Light tasting: including 3 wines combined with olives, sun dried tomatoes and local home-made bread.
Full tasting: including 4 wines combined with Sicilian arancini, focaccia bread, local cheese, sun dried tomatoes and local home-made bread.
Wine tasting (to one’s choices) and visit to the cellars.
Everything that is not specified in the "included".
The winery Valle Dell'Acate is located in Contrada Biddini, 48, Acate (Ragusa).
From Palermo take the Highway A19 to Catania, then take the exit Caltanissetta-Gela (SS626); when in Gela, follow the SS115 , Vittoria direction, and take the exit Acate.
From Messina and Catania: take the Highway A18 to Catania and then take the Catania-Siracusa Lentini exit and continue for Ragusa (SS194-SS514), take then the exit to Vittoria for Acate.
It is required an advanced payment of the entire amount.
Withdrawal policy: 100% refund is allowed up to 7 days before the service begins.
50% refund is allowed within 7-2 days before the service begins;
After this dates there is no refund.
